Stepping into the therapeutic process requires great courage. Helen understands this and honors each client’s story and journey, coming alongside them with a marked sense of compassion and warmth. With a collaborative and strengths-based approach, Helen seeks to partner with her clients, empowering them to create lasting change in their lives.

Helen’s areas of focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, identity issues, premarital/couples counseling, family conflict, acculturation issues, spiritual issues, women’s issues, and trauma. She is EMDR trained, and certified in Prepare & Enrich. Helen has a background in working with children/teens in education and in supporting children/adolescents and their families in community mental health. With a background in church volunteer ministry, Helen is also passionate about working with those in vocational ministry and those who are disillusioned by church. Helen is deeply honored to work with her clients so they can experience healing, freedom, and restoration in their lives.
