As a first-generation Latina therapist, Yesenia brings a unique perspective to her practice by combining empathy, compassion, and evidence-based techniques when working with her clients. She creates a safe space for individuals, couples, and families to share their struggles and work toward personal growth and healing.
Yesenia has experience working with depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ and identity issues, eating disorders, pre-marital counseling, couples' conflict, family conflict, trauma, relational issues, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and adjustment to new phases of life. She has over a decade of experience serving in ministry and has also worked with children and adolescents in various professional roles.
Yesenia is passionate about working with diverse communities and understands that culture and background shape one's worldview. Her warm and non-judgmental demeanor enables her to help those seeking a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment.
