Kris believes that every individual is created for meaningful connection with others and has a heart for walking alongside those in need of restoration—especially in the area of relational brokenness. She aims to provide individualized care from a place of compassion and empathy by fostering a safe space for clients to bring their whole selves. She is committed to supporting and empowering clients to create positive and lasting change through interventions focusing on their strengths, relational resources, and expertise about their lives.

Kris is passionate about the intersection between faith and therapy and believes therapy is a powerful tool that can help individuals process their internal world, engage in growth, and work toward wholeness. She has over 15 years of experience serving in several different ministry contexts and has a heart specifically for pastors, ministry staff, and families in ministry, particularly in the Asian American context.

Kris’ areas of focus include anxiety, depression, chronic illness and pain, identity and spiritual issues, trauma, and relationship struggles within couples and families. She is also passionate about working with bereaved individuals. She is open to serving individuals, couples, families, and adolescents of various cultural backgrounds.
