The transitions and stressors of life can be overwhelming, often leading to disconnection and isolation. Kenia offers a space of compassion and empathy for those who find themselves in such pain. She understands it is a tremendous privilege to be brought into someone else's story, so she takes great care to listen with tenderness and warmth. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all journey; that's why Kenia's heart for therapy is to come alongside each and every one of her clients to collaborate with them on their unique path to healing. Working from an attachment theory lens, Kenia hopes to cultivate a safe space of authenticity, openness, and understanding so each client can process their emotional experience, gain important insight and take steps towards their renewal.
Kenia has a passion for and experience in serving clients navigating relationship conflict, life transition, grief, trauma, spirituality, and identity issues. She has also served people who feel disillusioned or hurt by the church. As a first-generation Latina, Kenia uses her unique perspective when serving diverse, minority communities, a population that is very dear to her heart. She is also currently in the certification process for Prepare & Enrich.
