Joyce is passionate about helping people have more satisfying relationships with others and themselves. She believes that providing a safe space and being genuinely curious about people can be deeply therapeutic. She has a collaborative approach; warmly inviting clients to examine their problems through the attachment lens. She can help with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, parenting, identity, and relational issues. She works with adolescents, adults, older adults, and couples.
Joyce understands that life can be challenging. She comes alongside her clients and cares for them as a whole person. She collaborates with her clients to process emotions, promote insight, encourage compassion, and build action plans. She is sensitive to unique life stage problems and cultural differences. She enjoys working with older adults for their rich life stories and unique struggles, such as intergenerational conflicts. She is also trained in Gottman Level 1 Couples Therapy to help couples find strengths and deepen their connections.
