Charissa is passionate to see individuals and couples experience holistic healing and gain tools for lasting change and influence. She desires to come alongside each client in their pain with a posture of empathy, authenticity, patience, and partnership.
Charissa’s areas of interest include working with individuals who are experiencing identity issues, cultural issues, life transitions, relational struggles, spiritual issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as families experiencing marital issues and family crises. As a former campus minister, Charissa is passionate about the intersections of mental health, faith, and social justice. She has walked alongside college students and young adults of diverse ethnic, cultural, and regional backgrounds. In these contexts, she has helped individuals discover their identities, cultivate healthy relationships, and be empowered in their contexts. Charissa also has a heart for pastors/ministry staff, families in ministry, and pastor’s kids.
