About Brenda

There are times in life when we find ourselves rather stuck or confused about a relationship, situation or feeling. Maybe we have tried to fix it, ignore it, or we are at a complete loss, and left feeling frustrated, worried, sad, or exhausted. In aiming to address issues that weigh clients down, Brenda’s approach is calm, thoughtful, and genuine, offering a supportive relationship to help cultivate an empowered sense of personhood.

Brenda comes from a broad background of vocational and life experience. This is also reflected in Brenda’s therapeutic approach drawing upon multiple orientations, such as psychodynamic, systems, play, emotionally-focused, and trauma-informed therapies. This allows for flexible and individualized care. Additionally, Brenda is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy), a well-researched and effective type of therapy designed to help with relief from traumas and distressing life experiences, as well as other areas of focus.
