Dr. Mark Yarhouse will address the current biblical, sociological, and psychological dynamics related to those in our communities who identify as LGBTQ+ or are struggling with various aspects of sexual identity.
Relying upon extensive research, biblical knowledge, and clinical experience, Dr. Yarhouse will help identify the various psychological and spiritual perspectives involved when ministering to this population. The goal of this presentation is to equip pastors and lay-ministers with biblically and psychologically informed knowledge, tools, and language necessary to engage with sexually diverse members of our communities meaningfully and compassionately.
