Steve Gioielli, PsyD
Offices: Santa Ana, Los Alamitos
Dr. Gioielli considers his role as a psychologist to be one of great privilege. As he journeys with others through the issues that have brought them to therapy, he often feels he is invited into sacred spaces, filled with suffering, pain, confusion, or one’s deepest longings of the heart. It is in these sacred spaces that there is also opportunity for change, for hope, for healing. His hope is that through the process of psychotherapy people will come to experience greater freedom and vitality, deeper capacities for love and creativity, and more meaningful and redemptive relationships.
Dr. Gioielli primarily works with adults and couples with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting, relational and emotional issues, infidelity, childhood abuse, gender and sexual identity, and religious and spiritual issues. He also works with people who feel stuck, aimless, or desire to possess more purpose and meaning in their lives.
