Through many different roles throughout his career, Mike has provided pastoral care and support to children, adolescents, individual, couples, and families. He works with his clients to create a safe and welcoming space where people can be heard and understood in a way that leads to increased hope and healing.
Prior to pursuing his MA in Clinical Counseling: MFT at Azusa Pacific University, he served 12 years in pastoral ministry in two churches and as Director of Community and Church Relations at Biola University for the past 17 years. He is also a Spiritual Director at the Center for Spiritual Renewal at Biola University. Mike has also taught courses in theology and spiritual formation at Talbot School of Theology and Biola’s School of Education.
As an MFT Trainee, Mike offers support and works with clients in the areas of anxiety and depression, grief and loss, identity issues, couples counseling, family conflict, divorce recovery, spiritual issues, trauma and abuse.
