In actively listening to people's stories, Karson’s heart is to come alongside people wherever they are, whether it's pain, stress, loss or other areas of life. He hopes to offer assistance to people as they learn about themselves both individually and relationally. Karson also hopes to help people by creating a safe environment for them to heal from past and/or current wounds and difficulties. Through whatever lies at hand, he is excited about the opportunity to creatively help people find personal ways of growing using their own strengths.
Karson works with people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, relationship struggles, and addiction. He is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and received training specifically focusing on how trauma gets lived out through bodily sensations. Additionally, Karson is certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy: Level 1 and has received certification in Prepare & Enrich for providing premarital counseling.
