Dr. Anna is deeply invested in understanding and caring about people and their stories. She considers it a gift to be invited into the lives of her clients in order to help them grow and heal. She is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to better understand themselves, connect with others, and deepen in self-awareness.
Research and theory are the basis behind Dr. Anna’s treatment. She was trained in and primarily uses an attachment-based psychodynamic approach to work with clients. She is certified to conduct pre-marital and couples therapy with the Prepare and Enrich program. Treatment plans are created and adjusted according to the individual needs and desires of each client.
In terms of her clinical experience, Dr. Anna earned her doctoral and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University (an APA approved program). While completing her graduate studies, Dr. Anna provided psychological assessment and therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults in multiple settings including community mental health, school districts, university counseling centers, and outpatient hospital treatment programs. She has also provided supervision and training to other therapists.
