Marlene offers individuals, couples, and families the acceptance and compassion people in crisis need. Utilizing evidence-based treatment, she collaborates with the client to develop positive solutions and achieve long-term results for the challenges addressed in therapy. Marlene works in a way and at a pace that the client finds comfortable. Treatment is customized to meet the specific needs unique to every individual, couple, or family group. Marlene’s experience – both personal and professional – has equipped her to work effectively with adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, and families.
Marlene specializes in helping people with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss and life transitions. She offers support for couples, adolescents and young adults along with their parents as they navigate the challenges of maintaining communication and family relationships. If the client desires, Marlene can offer therapy that integrates psychology and spirituality.
Marlene has completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and EMDR Therapy for the healing of trauma. Marlene specializes in using Internal Family Systems to experience an increased sense of inner harmony that will contribute to improved relationships and to wiser, healthier functioning in all areas of life.
