Emily Kirkbride, MA
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Offices: Orange, Brea
Connection and compassion lead Emily’s relational work with clients. Emily enjoys working collaboratively and individually with her clients through whatever they bring to the relationship.
Emily understands that the ways we attached in our early development impact our present relationships. We long for deeply connected relationships with another and Emily hopes her clients will experience that with her in their therapeutic relationship, so they can move toward their goals of living with others in deeply meaningful ways.
Additionally, Emily understands that our bodies are key to healing and are wise teachers to help us make sense of ourselves especially our vulnerabilities, needs, and pain. Emily’s work incorporates the body, mind and spiritual experiences of clients.
Emily has working with women across the lifespan that come from a multitude of experiences including trauma, grief, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, motherhood or other spiritual concerns. Emily enjoys work with performance athletes or those suffering from chronic illness to help them overcome their hurdles. Emily also works with couples and families who desire to strengthen, recover and move toward deeper intimacy with one another.
