Bruce Chambers, MS
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Bruce desires to be a source of support and a safe place for his clients to speak their greatest fears out loud. He understands emotions can be messy and feel overwhelming or confusing, but he knows they can also work as guiding lights to keep you safe and thriving. Bruce’s heart is to help each one of his clients find the courage to ask for their needs, stand up for themselves, and transform painful memories into meaningful lessons. He seeks to help his clients find compassion for themselves, defeating the harsh inner voice that tears them down.
Bruce has been trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy with founder Dr. Les Greenberg, completed an externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, trained in couples work with Drs. John and Julie Gottman, and is currently working toward certification in EMDR therapy.
Bruce and his wife of 37 years raised three sons and are now proud grandparents of four adorable children who keep them young and active. He and his wife also volunteer as Community Pastors and mentors at their church. Bruce brings real life experience to couples’ struggles, teenage crisis, and the stresses of life transitions. His clients experience balance between his well-informed psychological practice and a warm personal approach. Bruce endeavors to provide a nurturing, non-judgmental environment where clients receive encouragement and support as they work through the challenging issues of their lives.
