Biography

April Twenhafel is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters of Science Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. April works with clients on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, spiritual direction, and identity development. She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich Counselor for premarital therapy. April offers short-term and long-term therapy for children, adolescents, couples, families and adult individuals. April has had tremendous success in helping individuals work through painful experiences that rob them of the joy of their lives. April’s approach to therapy is very relational. The therapeutic approach often focuses on the early significant relationships on the ongoing emotional development of the individual. She also assists families in developing more effective problem-solving strategies and explores how each member of the family impacts and is impacted by other family members.
